He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Susie Dawson Sampson; and his brothers, Willie, Leo and Glenwood Sampson.
He is survived by: his nieces, Diane Sampson Luttrell, Natalie Sampson Norris (Harry), Sue Sampson and Linda Sampson Druin. He is also survived by 6 grand nieces and nephew, and 13 great-grand nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Memorials may be made to Kilmarnock United Methodist Church, Mila United Methodist Church, or Animal Welfare League in Kilmarnock.
