He was predeceased by: his father Thomas W. Smith. He is survived by: his mother Lillian C. Smith; and his siblings, Chris Smith (Jennifer), Donna Barnes (Frank) and Sharon Coffey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

A private service will be conducted with family only due to the Covid pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made c/o Tommy's brother, Chris Smith, 2069 Yuma Rd., Gate City, Va. 24251, to offset final expenses.
