He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kerney and Marie Bledsoe Kerney; and his father-in-law Creed Farley. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kerney; his children, Heather Smith and Jamie Kerney (Shannon); his grandchildren, Seth Smith and Braxton Kerney; his siblings, Irene Porter (Bill), Jean Bellamy, Robin Jessee, Ed Kerney (Jackie) and Harold Kerney (Elizabeth); his mother-in-law Vivian Farley; his brothers-in-law, Skip Farley (Lisa) and Danny Rhoton; his great-nephew Austin Karr; and his close friends, Junior Bowery, Billy McDavid and Jerry Gillenwater. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
