She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvey Hensley and Dona Fletcher Hensley; her husband Walter Lewis Minnich; and her siblings, Bessie Thacker, Dorothy Fansler and Buster Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Janie Brown (Scott), Richard Minnich and Charles Minnich (Michelle); her sister Opal Thacker; and her close friend Jerry Cox. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home (456 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:45 AM. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the V. A. National Cemetery.
