She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Rhoten and Grace Necessary Rhoten; her husband Rex Chapman; and her siblings, Jack Rhoten, James Rhoten, Frances Norton and Jessee Cornett.

She is survived by: her children, Randall Wayne Chapman (Vicki Tolley-Chapman) and Robin Chapman; her grandchildren, Nikki Compton (Ray), Norah Koch (Kris), Alyssa Linehan (Chris), Adam Chapman (Courtney) and April Voiles (Nic); her great grandchildren, Aristina Compton, Camille Compton, Isabella Voiles, Taylor Voiles, Ella Linehan, Zoe Linehan, Carter Chapman, Makayla Koch, Kylie Koch and Colby Koch; her sister Judy Holmes (Russell); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Rhoten and Charles Norton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
