It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Tressa Ross (Weber City, Virginia), who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Valentine Tassey, Jr. and Marie Tassey (Dunkley); her half-brothers, David, James and Paul; and her husband Timothy Alan Ross.
She is survived by: her brothers, William G. Tassey and Raymond Tassey; her children, Katrina, Bryan, Jonathan and Peter; her grandchildren, Kristina Kelehan, David Kelehan, Elizabeth Ross, Christopher Ross and Kenneth Ross; and her great grandchildren, Xionna Kelehan and Áine Ross. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Holston View Cemetery (226 Yuma Rd, Weber City, VA 24290). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
