He is survived by: his parent Venus Sanders; his wife Mary Wheatley Sanders; his children, Cathy Sanders of Elizabethton, TN, Holly and Jason Castle of Gate City, VA.; his siblings, Bobby Jo Sanders of Fort Blackmore, VA, Geraldine "Gerri" Lee of Kingsport, TN, Betty (Tom Graham), Mima (Otis Lawson), Ina Faye (Paul Owens) and Reba (Gary Turbyfill); his grandchildren, Jessica (Jason Cardin), Michael (Alisha Porter), Jaden Castle and Rylee Castle; and his great grandchildren, Cora Cardin, Kovi Cardin, Logan Porter and Zoey Porter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as Daddy Mack's host of foster children.
