We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024, at the age of 92, James Brickey (Weber City, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbin Brickey and Bonnie Starnes Brickey; and his sisters, Peggy Bruce and Rita Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Brickey; his children, Cheryl Steffey (Jackie) and Mike Brickey (Linda); his stepdaughter Chris Carroll; his grandchildren, Lori Horner (Ashley), Ryan Brickey (Ashley) and Haley Russell (Noah); his great grandchildren, Avery, Ella, Brooks Horner, Paisley, Cooper, Rhett Brickey and Bodie Russell; his sister Shelby Greear; and his close friend Dave Dorton.

Flowers will be excepted or donations may be made to the Scott County Lifesaving Crew, 108 Park St., Gate City, VA 24251.
