He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Stokes of Weber City, VA; his children, Anita Gillenwater (David) and Rick Stokes (Jennifer); his grandchildren, David Lee Gillenwater (Ashlynn), Aaron Stokes and Brayden Stokes; his great grandchildren, Maylee and Ella Gillenwater; his siblings, Brenda Wolfe (Jerry), Mary Sue Fuller, Jane Griffin and Tommy Stokes (Melissa); and his close friend Jimmy Darnell.
