In the vast expanse of eternity, Deborah Kay shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Deborah Kay farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Gillenwater and Clyde Marie Gillenwater (Owens); and her brother Gary Gillenwater. She is survived by: her son Kevin Elliott (Rebecca); her granddaughter Morgan Elliott; and her siblings, Janice Osborne (Bob), Kim Hutchins, Greg Gillenwater and Donnie "Rose Bud" Gillenwater (Hannah). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gate City Funeral Home (136 Beech St, Gate City, VA 24251). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
