With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Campbell (Weber City, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Loon and Mary Jane Culbertson Campbell; the mother of his child Opal Campbell; his former wife Geneva Campbell; his daughter Beverly Jean Hood; and his siblings, Mary McClellan, Irene Salyers, Cornie Powers, Ora Collins, Benita Edison, Earl Campbell and Jerry Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Jean Campbell; his grandson Shannon Hood (Carolyn); his son-in-law Eugene Hood; his stepchildren, Mark Sandidge (Marian) and Michelle Overbay (Don); his stepgrandchildren, Faith McDavid (Derrick) and Jordan Sandidge (Vanessa); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Greyson McDavid and Julian Sandidge. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
