He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Roberts and Kathleen Roberts; and his brother Dale Roberts. He is survived by: his close friends, Doug and Bitsy Humphreys; his wife Vickie Jones Roberts; his children, Elizabeth BreeAnn Bledsoe (Hunter), Aaron Allen Roberts (Lindsay) and Christopher Hunter Roberts; his siblings, Garry Roberts (Judy), Sheila Dykes, Carl Roberts (Rhonda), Karen Woods, Sharon Barger (Mike), Paul Roberts (Scottie) and Doug Humphreys (Bitsy); and his grandchildren, Cole Smith, Hayden Smith, River Roberts, Kai Bledsoe and Jax Bledsoe.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gate City Frontier ATTN Gate City Theater Project.
