It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Henry Banks (Waynesboro, Virginia), born in Nellysford, Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Melinda Curry Banks; his parents, Felix Banks and Lovely "Louise" Simpson Banks; his siblings, Paul Felix Banks, Virginia Harris and Teresa Banks; his father-in-law Wardell Curry (Jack); his children, Brittany Dabney (James Dabney) and Brandon Curry; his granddaughters, Chantelle Johnson, Jasiah Dabney, Kassidy Curry, Jaylin Fitzgerald and Jaden Dabney; his siblings, Robert Banks (Oradee) of Providence, Deacon Guy Banks (Deaconess Debra Banks) of Waynesboro and Mamie Banks of Charlottesville; his mother-in-law Juanita Curry of Grottoes; and his siblings-in-law, Wardell Curry (Dell), Major Diggs, Teresa Diggs, Brenda Curry and Jackie Curry.
Reverend Banks was a member of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
