He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Reecy Crawford Marshall and William Delmar Marshall, Sr.; his wife Patricia Ayres Marshall; his son David Jerome Marshall; and his granddaughter Lindsay Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, William "Danny" Marshall (Kathy), Dana Kirby (Dale) and Darrell Marshall; his grandchildren, Bryan Romaine, Erin Danielle Yancey (Brett), Corey Marshall (Shannon), Lacey Marshall and Lauren Kirby; his great grandchildren, Allie, Elly, Zach, Abel and Millie; his brother Ted "Buck" Crawford (Helene); and his friend Jimmy Childress.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
