He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles Lakin, Sr. and Mary Julia Lakin (David); his sister Linda Bush; and his stepson Jeremy Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Lakin (Thornberry) of Waynesboro; his stepchildren, Benji Johnson of Lexington and Kerri Arehart of Stuarts Draft; and his grandchildren, Christa Arehart, Copper Arehart, Benjamin Johnson and Kayleigh Johnson.
