The memory of Wayne Garland Via of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzy Jake and Gladys Mae Via (Marshall); his wife Elizabeth Jane Via; and his siblings, Louise Brown, Lois Randall Wimer, William Via, Herman Via and Eldridge "Buddy" Via.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Brooks (Roger), Lisa Faulhaber (Greg), Marie Hughes (John) and Michelle Truslow (Chris); and his sister Judy McDorman (Bill). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Charlton and Groome Funeral Home (619 Lifecore Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939).
