He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzy Jake and Gladys Mae Via (Marshall); his wife Elizabeth Jane Via; and his siblings, Louise Brown, Lois Randall Wimer, William Via, Herman Via and Eldridge "Buddy" Via.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori Brooks (Roger), Lisa Faulhaber (Greg), Marie Hughes (John) and Michelle Truslow (Chris); and his sister Judy McDorman (Bill). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
