With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet H. Fitzgerald (Waynesboro, Virginia), who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Violet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Violet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) or to the Central and Western Virginia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association (1010 Ednam Center, Suite 203, Charlottesville, VA 22903).
