It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Thurber (Szczur) Rankin of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Szczur and Ellen Szczur (Thurber); and her brother Larry Szczur. She is survived by: her spouse Russell Dale Rankin of Waynesboro; her daughters, Candi H. Dunlap (Stuart), Tina R. Bosserman (Chris) and Denise R. Corbett (Henry Deavers); her sister Connie Spencer (Don); her grandchildren, Chelsea, Lindsey, Ryan Bosserman, Jacob Duncan and Ethan Corbett; and her sister-in-law Rennie Szczur.
