The memory of Sandra F. Lucas (Waynesboro, Virginia), who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 75, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Saylor Blaine and Louise Burgess Allen Fitzgerald; and her sister Velda Sharon Fitzgerald Campbell. She is survived by: her brother-in-law John B. Campbell, Jr. of Waynesboro; her niece Wendy Campbell Batts (Joel P. Batts) of Greenville; and her friend Rhonda Wilson (Tony) of Richmond. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
It is suggested that those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society (P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741).
