It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Flynn Shimer of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 20, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Flynn and Margaret Flynn (Gilday) of New Rochelle; her husband Gordon M Shimer; her daughter Meg McKnight (Shimer) of Arlington, VA; her stepchildren, Barbara Quinn (Shimer) of New City, NY and Stanley Shimer (Jackie) of Vero Beach; her grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Gretchen, Anne, Kara, Heather, Christine, Connie and Bonnie; and also, Genevieve Allard, William Mulderig and Cristin Colford. She was also cherished by many great grandchildren.
