It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray Cason of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Ray Cason and Elinor Cason (Oxford); his brother Arthur "Luke" Cason; his parents-in-law, Eddie and Jewell Craig; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Craig, II, Dreama Czerotzki and Cheryl Snead.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Jean Cason of Waynesboro; his children, Misti Pugliese (Tony), Angie Earhart (Bruce Chandler), Artie Cason (Jacque) and Ellie Pugliese (Gino); his sister-in-law Donna Cason; his grandchildren, Luciano Pugliese (Sara), Roberto Pugliese (Victoria), Julietta Hampson (Mic), Catie Lobban (Chris), Tiffany Lobban (Brandon), Giuliana Evans (Jared) and Armani Pugliese; his great grandchildren, Titus, Timmy, Remi, Riggins, Elena, Hayden and Roman; his niece Chas Shrewsberry; his nephews, Randy and Jamie Snead; and his close friend Willie Godfrey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Aero Drive Church of God (108 Aero Dr, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Augusta Memorial Park (1775 Old Goose Crk Rd, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
