It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Francis Steele of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, O. W. "Sam" Steele and Norma Hassett Steele. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Steele; his former wife Sandra Kelley; his son Randall; his adoptive daughter Susan; his siblings, Alice Supple of Richmond and Michael Steele of Chicago; his stepchildren, Josh McElheny (Brittney) and Hannah Ledger (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Kaylie, Reese, Hope Ledger (Carter McElheny), Ramsey Ledger, Camden and Cooper McElheny. He is also survived by Daddy!; as well as many cousins, nieces and a nephew.
