It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred May (Johnson) Martin (Waynesboro, Virginia), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Johnson and Lucy Johnson (Powell); her husband Dan; her children, Dan, Walter Martin and Janice Kennedy; her grandson Daniel Martin; and her siblings, Aubrey, Orey, Fletcher, Mitchell, Charlie, Joe Johnson and Gertrude Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmie (Becky Martin), Jerry Martin, Sharon (Michael DeHart), Preston Martin and Kathleen (Noah Hoover); her son-in-law Russell Kennedy; her sister Lucy Mays of Rustburg, VA; and her sister-in-law Susie Johnson of Fishersville, VA.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
