She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Willard and Mary Lillian Massie (Holbert); her siblings, Doris Ott, Kenneth Massie and Alvin Massie; and her son-in-law Christian Hurst "Chris" Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Alexander Garland; her children, Patrick Garland (Amie), Clarence (Clark) and Michele Harris; her grandchildren, Summer Harris, Lauren Giddens (Drew) and Joey Clark; her siblings, Sarah Robertson (Barry), Sandra Hooker (Barry), Donnie Massie (Dorothy) and Johnnie Massie; and her pets, Lilly and Bella.
The family will receive friends following the service from 5:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. at the residence. (Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic all current guidelines and restrictions will be followed.) The family would like to expend a special "Thank You" to Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah and to the Augusta Health Home Care.
