He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucille Carter and Clyde E. Carter, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Carter; his children, Brittany A. Carter Greaver, Ashley D. Carter (Stephan Shifflett) and Curtis Hewitt; his grandchildren, Olivia Carter, Gracie Greaver, Kayson Hewitt and Raiden Hewitt; his father Clyde E. Carter, Jr.; and his siblings, Jeff Carter, Lisa Campbell (Brian) and Carrie Hart (Casey).
