He was predeceased by: his mother Carol. He is survived by: his father Herb Funk of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; his siblings, Kathy of Annandale Va and Tom of Washington, D. C.; his nephew William (Marie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Krista, Kara and Kaylee of Fairfax, VA..
