She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Samuel Diggs, Sr. and Mealie Frances Awkward Diggs; her husband William C. Dillard; and her children, Gloria, William, Edward and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Earsline Carter (James), Donald, Allan and Michael Dillard; her siblings, Sidney Diggs, Fannie Wells, Ruby Dillard, Bernice Jackson (Alvin), Allene Jackson (John) and Blanche Giles; her brother-in-law James Dillard; and her grandson Alphonso Dillard. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
