With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn G. Roberson of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2020 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover R. Fitzgerald and Maggie Scott Fitzgerald; her brothers, Donniy Fitzgerald, Dewayne Fitzgerald and Richard Fitzgerald; her nephew Stevie Hull; her mother-in-law Helen Roberson; and her siblings-in-law, Donnie Roberson and Debbie Curry.
She is survived by: her husband Roger D. Roberson; her children, Misti Roberson-Goolsby (Tracy), Greg Roberson (Wendy) and Ashley Lucas (Brandon); her sisters, Dorothy "Boots" Alford and Wilma Hanckel; her grandchildren, Josh, Jonathan, Riley, Logan and Owen; her great grandchildren, Pierce and Presley; and also, Wayne, Judy Hull, Jimmy and Linda F. Roberson.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville. (Following Covid-19 mandated regulations).
