She was predeceased by: her parents, Beula M. Shaffer (Lehman) and Robert R. Shaffer; and her grandson Adam B. Cowherd. She is survived by: her husband Daniel H. Showalter; her children, Pamela K. Fitzgerald (James) and Daniel C. Showalter (Sara); her grandchildren, Matthew C. Cowherd (Carly), Natalie G. Bugden (Drew), Morgan E. Tanner (Andy) and Keith D. Showalter (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Abigail J. Bugden and Annalee G. Bugden; her siblings, John H. Shaffer and Dorothy K. Schmucker; and her friend Donna Evelsizer. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
