Lewis Edward Price Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis Edward Price of Waynesboro, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Alphon Price and Virginia Hettie Price (Hunt); his former wife Hazel Price (Hall); his grandson Caleb Price; and his siblings, Hermon Alphin Price, Jr. and Betty Lou Green.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Price; his children, Eddie Price (Becky Parmer), Jim Price (Brenda), Rick Travis (Sandy), Ron Apsey (Merritt), Robert DeBruine (Janet), Travis Brown (Shannon), Becky Swartz (Don) and Vikki Ingram (Brad); and his sister Sarah Williams. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDow Funeral Home (1701 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (18 Sophia Grace Dr, Fishersville, VA 22939).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made in his name to Bethany Lutheran Church.
