In loving memory of Leon E. Harris of Waynesboro, Virginia, who departed this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 48. Leon leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Owen E. Freeman; his grandfather Phillip Harris; and his uncles, Phillip Harris Jr., Stanley Harris and Diego Harris.
He is survived by: his mother Cora E. Morgan; his stepfather David Morgan; his brothers, David Morgan (Franny Morgan) and Ernest Morgan (Brandi Morgan); his nieces and nephews, Zania and Ezra Morgan; his stepsister Katie Armstrong (Derek Armstrong); his grandmother Phyllis Harris; his uncles, Leon Harris, Willy Harris, Elder Roscoe Harris and Richard Freeman; and his aunt Betty Johnson. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, as well as numerous cousins who were more like siblings.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the St. James Baptist Church (1094 Albemarle Ave, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
