He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leonard and Geneva Monroe (Cash); his son Kevin Monroe; his wife Mary "Beth" Pannell Monroe; and his siblings, Paul, Dave, Chester, Fishburne and Audrey Jack.
He is survived by: his child Tracy Conrad; his grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Conrad of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla; his son Kirk Monroe of Washington, D. C.; and his nephew Gary Monroe (Jo Ann Hewitt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
