He is survived by: his wife Harriet Wangler (Buck); his daughter Melanie Campbell (Wangler); his son-in-law Dr. Joseph C. Campbell, Jr. of Danville; his grandchildren, Joseph C. III, Katherine E., John C. Campbell, Jonathan A., Hannah E., Selah G. and Jake T. Wangler; and his sister Martha Ryan of Richmond.
