He was predeceased by: his former wife Connie Young Fix; his son Joey M. Fix; his wife Hattie Jean Kyle Fix; and his brother Charles E. Fix. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley F. Toms of Greenwood and William H. Fix (Barbara) of Wytheville; and his great-nephew Todd McAllister (Emily). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
