He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriette Patterson (Ballew); his parents, Lewis Arthur and Ruth Patterson (Bailey); his daughters, Laurie Nolley (Kevin) of Raphine and Kelly Cook (Donald) of Daleville; his sister Betty Ruth Keys of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Eliza Biby (Jeremy), Maddie Nolley, Mallory Lacks (Jonathan) and Callie Cook; and his great grandchildren, Harper Nolley, Ryann Lacks, Remy Athey and Loren Biby.
