He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Wright and Lois Wright (Dickerson); his sons, Gerald Christopher "Tim" Wright and Jeff Wright; and his sisters, Margaret Anstine and Elizabeth Claytor (Noots).
He is survived by: his wife Virginia E. Wright; his children, Gordon Wright, Jr. (Judi), Ester Roller (Roger Roller), Linda Major (Eddie), Cathy McDaniel (T. C.) and Joyce Dofflemyer (Quinn); his grandchildren, Chloe Mackenzie, Rachel Roller, Roger Roller, Jr., Sarah Roller, Hollie Gregory, Emily Crutchfield, Joshua Major, Jeremiah Major, Jennifer Allen-Key, Christopher McDaniel, Cory McDaniel, Nathan Dofflemyer and Courtney El'Gould; his great grandchildren, Laura Kate Major, Hunter Major, Laynie Major, Gaige Dofflemyer, Ava El'Gould, Nahla El'Gould and Jackson McDaniel; and his sisters, Lorene "Lody" Serrett and Delores Griffey.
