She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Anthony and Hazel Margaret Brown (Craft); her husband Walter Cleveland Ashby; her siblings, Tony, Teresa and Butch; and her nephew Timmy Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Brown, Nancy Lucas, Todd Ashby and Debbie Simpson; her grandchildren, Brandon Lucas (Ashley), Cory Brown (Allie), Christopher, Layla, Owen, Ainsleigh and Hazel; her siblings, Paula Lowry (Joey) and Timmy Brown (Alice); her sister-in-law Doris Brown; and her great-niece Izabella Hudson.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (301 Sheppard Ct, Waynesboro, VA 22980).
