She is survived by: her children, Chester T. Smith, Sr. (Kathy), Anthony L. Smith, Sr. (Denise), Teresa Harper and Dorothea Younger; and her close friends, Joan Brown, Evelyn Stewart, Phyllis Williams and Bill Bowman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A repast was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Smokey Row Baptist Church (831 Smoky Row Rd, Staunton, VA 24401). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Hunter Cemetery.
