He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Monroe Strickler, Sr. and Eliese Strickler (Michael) of Virginia; his children, Brian Strickler (Brandy Michelle Cummings) and Stefanie Vandevander (Zachary); his stepdaughters, Kristin O'Neal and Holly Hilton; his siblings, Juanita Simmons (Van), Karen Sue DeVore, Alicia Cash (Steve) and Dwight Strickler (Caroline); his grandchildren, AvaLynn Cummings, SkyLee Cummings, Kimber Strickler, Zachary Strickler, Lani Goggin and Sydney Vandevander; and his close friend Clayton Bosserman. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
