It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Wilson Benson of Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on October 3, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Rodney Wilson. He is survived by: his friend Robert Massie; his wife Kay Benson (Kennedy); his children, Robin Calderin (Angel) of Texas, Reggie Benson (Gloria) of Ohio, Penny Cooper (Jeff) of Waynesboro and Susanne Storm (Mike) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Christopher Calderin, Angela Calderin of Texas, Meghan Kennedy (Michael) of Waynesboro, Jennifer Sargent (Garrett) and Julia Rogers (Caleb) of Ohio; his stepgranddaughters, Andrea Sawyer (Andy) and Laura Cooper of Waynesboro; his great grandchildren, Aubree Forbes, Morgan Kennedy and Annabelle; and his stepgranddaughter Sybil Sawyer.
