It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daisy H. Vernon of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Alberta, Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter W. Vernon of Waynesboro; her parents, George D. Hutchinson and Katie Lou Hutchinson (Hamilton); her son Ernest Daniel Vernon; her granddaughter Heather Dawn Vernon; and her siblings, Pete, Barnard, Bill, George, James Hutchinson, Katherine Graves and Ethel.
She is survived by: her daughter Dreama F. Hiner (Mark Showalter) of Verona; her grandchildren, Nash Vernon, Megan (Brandon Dillard), Shasta Vernon (Mike Grant), Janet Castle, Courtney Vain, Kris Showalter (Brittany) and Colton (Rachel Johnson); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Kaiden Dillard, Harley, Ronnie Jackson, Wayne Vain, Kris, Hunter Showalter, Lulu and Jay Johnson.
