He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clayton Foltz and Jemima Cassell Foltz (Patterson); his sisters, Alberta Boyd Foltz and Winfree Arrington Foltz (Sebastian Bellomo); and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Jelliff and Woodrow Wilson Tucker.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Foltz (Nutt) of Waynesboro; his children, Richard Altaffer Foltz, Andrew Walker Foltz, Elizabeth Foltz Hendrix (Todd Matthew Hendrix) of Virginia and Suzanne Patterson Foltz (Richard James Stephens); his siblings, George "Buddy" Clayton Foltz (Carolyn Ann) and Mary Jemima Foltz Tucker; and his sister-in-law Evelyn Nutt Jelliff. He is also survived by 5 nephews; and 1 niece.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1904 Mt. Vernon Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980, or to the Summerlee Work Project of the church.
