It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Brooks Sr. (Waynesboro, Virginia), who passed away on December 31, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crawford R. Brooks and Elizabeth Brooks; his brother Crawford Alexander Brooks; his nephew DeWayne Brooks; and his niece Nina Burley.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Brooks; his children, Charles "Chuck" Brooks (Heidi Brooks) of Greenville, Robin Brooks of Greenville, Tonya Wrenn (W. C. Wrenn) of Selma and Tony Brooks (Angie Brooks) of Crimora; and his siblings, Donald Brooks (Eva) of Waynesboro, Jean Johnson of Ruckersville and Barbara Baber of Stuarts Draft. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions, in his memory, to Augusta Health-Hospice of the Shenandoah, care of the Augusta Health Foundation, P. O. Box 1000, Fishersville, VA 22939.
