She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lee Simmons and Mary Simmons Walls (Balser); and her siblings, William Simmons, Frances Switzer, Shirley Buchanan, Betty Puffenbarger and India Kay Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Lee Beverage Burt of Marietta, GA, Ronald Eugene Beverage (Glenda) of Abilene, TX and Barbara Lynn Beverage of Verona; her siblings, Robert, Carl Simmons and Nancy Breeden; her cousin Grace Fishback; and her close friends, Dave, Patsy Smith, Janet Landes, Lee Combs, Bob and Barbara Stump. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 20 great, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
