With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bonnie Moore (Sheets) Mitts Swisher of Waynesboro, Virginia, born in Fort Defiance, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 3, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Lee Swisher of Waynesboro; her parents, Homer Frederick and Merle Anna Sheets (Moore); her siblings, Garland Frederick Sheets and Mary Jane Good; and her stepdaughter Sandra Kaye Cole.
She is survived by: her children, Earl W. "Wayne" Mitts, Jr. (Pauline), Randall Moore Mitts (Schlia) and Alicia M. Fitzgerald (Jody); her stepson Tommy Scott Swisher (Bethanee); her sister Anne Rebecca Reid; her grandsons, Jason Mitts (Chrissy) and Andrew Mitts; her stepgrandchildren, Cody Swisher (Raven), Taylor Wilcher (Tyler), Jessica McCray, Matt McCray (Danielle) and Nicholas Cole; and also Breckyn. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
