She was predeceased by: her parents, George Inscoe and Gladys Inscoe (Mitchell); her husbands, Gordon Earl Long, Jr. of Boston, VA and Burlin Miller Sutton of Waynesboro, VA; and her siblings, Betty Howell, Frances Wood, Helen Jennings, JoAnn Watson, Tommy and Clyde Inscoe.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack Long (Susan) of Norlina, NC, Jeff Long (Karen) of Waynesboro, Kenny Long (Christina) of Fishersville and David Long (Valerie) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Rebecca Long of Boone, NC, Christopher Long of Norlina, McGregor Long of Waynesboro, Breanne Long of Philadelphia, PA, Stephanie Long of Chapel Hill, NC, Melody Long of Apex and Mitchell Long of Apex; and her sister Joyce Beal of Angier, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
