He was predeceased by: his siblings, Thomas F. Graves, Sr., Ethel G. Shaw and Mary L. Watkins; his siblings-in-law, Sarah W. Graves, Leroy Shaw and James Watkins, Sr.; and his nephew Thomas F. Graves, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Luster of Waverly; his sons, Darius L. Connor of Waverly and Deman T. Luster of Hopewell; his mother-in-law Lorraine Grimstead of Virginia Beach; and his siblings-in-law, Vanessa Ferguson (Casey) of Seattle, WA, Celestine Grant of Washington, D. C., Calvin Smith of Virginia Beach and Terry Smith of Waverly. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, among them devoted, niece and caregiver.
