She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Gwaltney; and her brother Ray Gwaltney. She is survived by: her husband James "Andy" Thorpe, Jr.; her children, Sheri Tomlin and Brad Thorpe; her grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, Hurley Thorpe and Casey Anderson (Zach); her great grandchildren, Jase and William Anderson; her sisters, Sue Topolancik (Steve) and Gerry Higgins (Horace); and her nieces and nephews, Roger, Jon, Jessica, Jennifer and Jamie.
