She was predeceased by: her parents, Augusta Edwards and Mamie Crocker Edwards; her husband Chauncey Gray; and her sisters, Mary E. Avent and Daisy L. Gray.

She is survived by: her niece Mamie Barnes; her brothers, James, Lewis and Lawrence Edwards; and also Mamie Barnes (Huddie) of Waverly, Virginia.. She is also survived by great-nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
