It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Turner of Waverly, Virginia, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Walter Taylor; her husband Linwood Turner; and her brother Richard Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Doris Taylor (Marvin Wyatt) and Kamari; her granddaughter Markita Taylor (James); her great grandchildren, Kaylani Willis and Zariyah Willis; her sisters, Catherine Taylor of Petersburg, VA, Pearlie Turner (Fenton Turner) of Waverly, VA and Rose Tabb of Waverly, VA; her nieces, Denise Taylor, Jane White, Pamela Taylor, Shamika Taylor, Lasheka Brown and Micole Taylor; her brother Howard Taylor; her nephews, Kenneth, Darryl, Deon and Travis; and her friends, Tanisha Winfield and Nikita Sumler. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
